This may seem like nothing to some people…
Impressionable utes weren’t the only ones watching when Cincinnati Reds owner Bob Castellini (right) passed out victory cigars and then lit up after his team clinched the NL Central title at Great American Ball Park on Tuesday.
Also watching at home on television were at least five whistle-blowers who noted that the Reds were violating Ohio’s indoor-smoking ban. They called Cincinnati’s health department to report the team and now the Cincinnati Enquirer reports the club is under investigation.
…but to me it is a HUGE indicator. Do you look at our government and wonder how all these bloody nannies managed to rise to power? Just think of this particular incident, with self-righteous busybodies phoning in their little snitch reports, and you get an idea.
There’s a segment of the population who WANTS to be told what to do, what not to do. These people disgust me, they’re our telephone sanitizers, and I would not shed a tear if they were suddenly extinct, telephone-based germs be damned.

It seems to me that I can take care of myself, and I don’t have to be insulted if someone wants to enjoy a particular vice. I’m an adult. They’re an adult. If we can’t work it out ourselves, I certainly don’t want a STATE to step in and do it for us.
